In 2019, I was sick of waitressing and watching time pass by. I wanted to come up with a way to make big strides toward breaking into the film industry as an actor. In January 2020, I made the ballsy move of quitting my job to focus on building a social media following for myself with the goal of demonstrating my marketability for production companies and casting directors.
Four short months later, I hit my first 100,000 subscriber mark on YouTube and 20,000 followers on Instagram and kept growing from there, all the while generating a great amount of knowledge on social media marketing and audience-building strategies.
Now, I work as an Instagram consultant for businesses that are struggling with their message and content marketing.
